UCF Volunteer Program

United Children’s Fund (UCF) volunteers have been serving in Uganda since 1994. We are pleased to once again offer this exciting program for Summer 2012. The program is for one month and space is limited. The program may be extended depending on the number of applications received.

Participating in the volunteer program gives you an extraordinary opportunity to foster personal growth and heighten cultural awareness.

The volunteer program allows you to experience rural Africa from a non-tourist point of view. As you meet the local people, learn their history, culture, and experience their daily existence, not only will you have an opportunity to make a difference in their lives, but in return, they will leave you with heartfelt memories and experiences to last a lifetime.

Volunteers work with local community based organizations and assist in the development, education and implementation of their chosen program.
