		VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES - Returning Soon! United Children's Fund provides volunteer opportunities in East Africa for those wanting to use their talents and skills to make a difference in someone's life. Volunteers can teach in elementary or secondary schools, work in local area clinics, work with the disabled children, work in village development programs for women, HIV AIDS prevention and care programs with children and adults. You choose the area where you want to help. Thanks to a generous donation of land in Makondo Village, Uganda, UCF will be able to resume the volunteer program in 2009. The land has been cleared, building plans are in place for a volunteer/retreat house. Construction is scheduled to commence in 2008. Applications and information regarding volunteer service will be posted to this website when they are available.
